Dr. Tyler is by far the best chiropractor I have seen at any The Joint Chiropractic locations I have been to in the past nearly three years. He is the only one who can pop my neck properly and fully and certain parts of back. One your your locations (Terrell Mill and Powers Ferry Roads) is literally 1/4 mile from my home but I go to the Woodlawn location, where he works out of, to get adjustments from him. I had horrible "sciatica" pain in my left lower back all the way down my thigh and around my groin... NEVER experienced this before in my life. I could barely walk and my kids said I looked " crooked ". I could not stand up straight .. Went to Dr Kyle at the East Cobb location. He thoroughly examined me, explained everything. After he worked on me I felt better than I had even before this sciatic episode... it was absolutely amazing what he did. The difference is amazing. Update 2026 May: The pain and discomfort remains and this location continues to deny any responsibility or proper solution. I have seen multiple medical experts and treating this still. I would be cautious of Shannon Rose. I don't write many reviews and when I do it's for good reason. Few months ago when I visited a Dr. Shannon Rose, she performed a neck traction maneuver resulting permanently damage to my neck and muscles. It felt weird immediately after the session and something was out of place. When I contacted the regional director, he brushed it off stating it's strained muscles. I spent the next two months almost weekly visiting various chiropractors. The verdict was inflammation and other muscles compensating due to certain injury. The Joint does not want to be responsible nor acknowledge this so I'm seeking external help and solutions. In the mean time I would encourage anyone to be cautious on this location and Dr. Rose. Note: Based on reply, I did contact and communicated with the regional director but he brushed it off saying it's only a muscle strain and gave me a few free visits as "the best they can do". As of Oct 2025, the treatment outside of The Joint continues.

When I agreed to the contract from the chiropractor he said I needed to come in two times a week for two months so I signed the contract for two months that included a two month contract price. Now they are telling me after I am in well over a month that is not the case. They say that is not what the contract says. It does not matter what the chiropractor says even though I signed the contract saying what the Chiropractor said I needed. This appears to be much less than what the Chiropractor recommended on my monthly fee. Therefore I give them a one star review.

I was amazed at how much pain relief I experienced from my session. What can we achieve in 1 minute? After observing my own experience closely with Dr Andrew, I have come to the conclusion that this service has not been useful to me. This appears to be a fast-paced operation geared towards commercial spin rather than providing a genuine relief. In reality, it is nothing more than a fleeting gimmick. On top of it, their preference of customers makes it an unwelcome place to me. Unfortunately, it took me several months to realize this, and I suspect others will make the same mistake due to human tendencies to repeat.

All the doctors EXCEPT Dr. Rose always leave me in more pain when I leave. They refuse to go back in for additional pops when I say I'm still tight in certain areas. It's not surprising that they are all men. Men never listen to women and always think they know best. Sleazy sales process, mediocre care, not worth your time or money. UPDATE - No improvement After the response from the owner, I re-sent the email thread and asked them to reconsider. And again, no response. So the nice response below seems to just be another example of their inauthentic customer service. Review The chiro suggested I sign up for two months and then cancel to address my acute issue, so I did. I tried to cancel once, but they said it was too early to process. I tried to cancel again and the desk person enlisted the chiro to pressure me and then before I left they tag team pressured me. Given that I said I wanted to cancel and didn't agree to any of their attempted sales, I thought I had canceled. Nope. They charged me for month 3. I reached out to explain the situation and was told it was my fault. I asked them to reconsider given how pressured I felt and my multiple attempts to cancel, and they didn't bother to respond. This place is as sleazy as it seems. Don't be fooled.

I received good care when I was treated for my back issues. However I decided to freeze my account for three months and was told I would receive a call to be reinstated when the three months were up. Not only did I not receive a call, they charged me the monthly charge again without asking me. I talked to the front counter staff, and was given an email address to inquire about it. The front desk staff also sent me a new form to cancel my account. They received it. I received an email response back and was Informed I would need a doctors note stating I couldn’t have chiro services anymore to get the 69 dollars back. I have also filed a dispute w my bank. I think it’s ridiculous I have to give them a doctors note When it was never mandatory for me to seek their services. I went on my own accord. The chiropractor doctors there are good at what they do. I would advice to use caution if you decide to enroll in their monthly program or you might end up having to fight them to get your money back.

He described my pain and discomfort perfectly and explained the source, along with how we’d improve it through treatment. Follow-up Visit 8: Care keeps improving, and so does my condition. In addition, the intake process was painless and the assistant at the desk was pleasant and helpful. Follow-Up Visit #1: Even better this time. My pain, tightness and discomfort is gone, after two treatments. Vanished. I don’ can’t describe how much I was over-compensating for several years, yet it was extremely significant. Every single movement of every single day was influenced and modified to mitigate the condition I ignored. Finally, when I grew tired of the pain I visited a chiropractor two days before I saw Dr. Addess, and it was disappointing, at best. There was no real diagnosis and no treatment plan, therefore no relief. Dr. Addess immediately knew that my sacrum was twisted and tipped out, and described exactly what he was going to do about it. The difference between the two healthcare providers was remarkable—not, night and day, rather like night and seven days—and it wasn’t even close. I highly recommend the team at The Joint, East Cobb, and specifically Dr. Addess, to anyone looking for professional chiropractic care.

I came in with very severe lower back pain that turns out to be a rotated lumbar and hip Both doctors have been wonderful. They set me up with a plan and in 2 days have almost completely made the pain go away. The front desk women are so sweet and kind. They work very quickly and I really enjoy coming in. The vibe in the building feels safe which I haven't really experienced from other chiros. I really appreciate that they are open after I get off work which was what originally brought me to The Joint. I am very grateful for the work you all do.

So I started out at a different location. The staff is nice there but I felt like I never truly felt relief after I left. I stopped at the East Cobb location and I was surprised. Dr. Rose adjusted me much different than the other location. She actually adjusted me according to what my body needed. The other location just felt like they adjust everyone the same exact way no matter what.

Dr. Addess is amazing. He is very knowledgeable, takes time to listen to your concerns and has a wealth of experience. He knows how much pressure to apply to the muscles and bones. I had other chiropractors who pushed way too hard on areas that won’t move. Dr. Addess knows when to leave your back alone not to further aggravate the issue. He gives great recommendations on what you can do at home to alleviate the pain and tension in the muscles. Strongly recommend him!

First time to visit the Joint. Great experience. Results immediately. Hardly any waiting time, and convenient hours. Until the Joint I avoided going to the chiropractor because the hours didn't fit my work schedule. I'd have to claim sick leave just to attend.

We have been a member at TJC for a few years now. We usually go to the one on Powers Ferry; And, after returning from a trip, this Saturday, we decided to get an adjustment- the assistant warned us it was going to be a minute, since they had a couple of new patients ahead of us; which we really appreciated she told us, in advance. Since we could not return at a later time, we decided to try The Joint on Johnsons Ferry. As usual, the place is nice and clean and everyone is very attentive; but, we did not have a good experience with the chiropractor that was in the clinic this past Saturday. Maybe, next time!?

Andrew is great. I went to a Joint while I was in Texas they had adjustable tables for there people to help them with not having to bend over as much. Which was pretty cool. But all your employees are good and knowledgeable won't never stop going. Thanks so much you are in east cobb.

I have liked most visits at this Joint, but unfortunately it now smells so strongly of chemical cleaners when you walk in the door and my favorite Saturday Dr. has been out… that I went ahead and canceled. I have loved Dr. Tim & Dr Kelley. But I don’t think I will be back until all the Covid concerns are over and the chemical smell is gone. I do like that this joint practice publishes what doctors are going to be in each day. I think if more joint practices would do that I would be more likely to stay because I can see the doctors that I prefer easily. As with anything… Some seem to listen and be willing to take time with your individual concerns and others just check the box. It’s nice that it’s affordable enough to take the time to find the doctor that you prefer and will take time to listen to you.

My back locked up on me about 10 days ago, as it does at least 2x per year. But this time the pain and inability to get mobility back lingered much longer than normal. Usually what is 3 days of discomfort morphed into over a week. The staff helped me 4 out of 5 days and it is much better. Still only about 80% but was able to workout today for the first time in 2 weeks. Thank you to the staff at the Joint in Marietta!

I have waited to come in however today I was reassured the proper sanitizing measures are being taken. When I was greeted both the doctor and receptionist kept the 6 feet necessary for social distancing. Before being adjusted, Dr. Addess walked me through the measures they are taking from sanitizing the tables and themselves between patients to requesting social distancing even if that means asking someone to please take an extra step back. The doctor will wear a mask and gloves upon request. After being adjusted I observed Dr. Addess sanitize his hands and sanitize, with a spray, the table I used. After coming today I will ABSOLUTELY be returning for my weekly adjustments.

This was my 1st time visiting The Joint Chiropractic and I am extremely impressed!! I've been getting chiropractic care for over 15 years but didn't establish a new doctor when I moved to the area. I recently started experiencing neck pain due to sleeping in a bad position and the pain has only worsened over the past 2 weeks to the point that it was causing nerve pain in my arm, stiff muscles in my shoulder and lack of movement in my neck. I found this place on Google and they were able to see me the same day. The doctor took his time to learn my history and to explain how he works with each patient's individual needs. This 1st adjustment was amazing and I can actually move my neck from side to side! He also created a care plan to come back several times over the next 2 weeks and I just know that I am going to finally be rid of this pain. This place is also extremely affordable compared to any other chiropractor I've ever been to and there's no need to worry about or deal with insurance copays, deductibles or other hassles I've been through in the past. I am so happy and grateful that I found this place and look forward to being a longtime patient!!

Most of the time when I visit, the staff is professional and helpful. They ask where I am having trouble and focus on those areas that I mention. Most make small talk about my day or upcoming weekend plans. However, there is one time when the male chiropractor asked if I was 2 months pregnant (which I am NOT!). He continued talking about this even though I made it clear that I was not pregnant and it was safe for me to lie on the bench face down. He had adjusted me before and never asked that question. The comment infuriated me, so I currently don't go on the days he works, even though I find him to be the best chiropractor at this location.

One day I started having severe pain in my lower back. I was going out of town the next day for a mini vacation and didn't want my back pain to ruin the trip. I'd never been to a chiropractor before but I was looking for some quick relief so I decided to give The Joint a try. Dr. Chase was able to make an adjustments for instant relief and I woke the next morning feeling so much better. On my second visit to the chiropractor I saw Dr. Josh Widjaja. He was very nice and made sure that I was comfortable during the visit. Without having to mention it, Dr. Josh noticed some stiffness in my neck and he made the proper adjustments to make me feel better.

I'm a physically fit 46-year-old that works out all the time. Went in to get a simple adjustment. Not only did I not get a simple adjustment, your doctor told me I needed "three or four more treatments." He actually said after the adjustment, "You're only about 70% corrected." Why is that? Because he wants me to come back for more treatments? Sometimes...people just need a simple adjustment. They don't need "treatments" or "x-rays" or "plans." My pelvis was tweaked and I've gone to enough Chiropractors to know that an adjustment fixes it. Unfortunately, my Chiro was off today and I was in pain. Please tell your young, brand new Chiropractor that I understand he has to find ways to increase profits (and impress his bosses), but not fixing the problem in the first place won't help retain people. As long as he is there, I will never return. In the meantime, the ladies up front were very friendly.

Dr Lee is there on Sundays and a couple other days of the week, and he is a miracle worker. My wife was having a horrible migraine - it seemed almost like a stroke. Dr Lee got her Atlas bone to move, believing pressure on the brain stem, and it immediately dropped the pain to a tenth of what it had been. We only make it over there on Sundays, it seems, so I've never actually met the main doctor, but I hear he's good, too.
