I am in more pain than I was when I avoided the new doctors already in this location. ⭐⭐⭐⭐ I want to give a huge thank you to The Joint Chiropractic, especially Dr. Walburn, for taking the time to personally help resolve an issue I had with my billing. I had called ahead on the 24th because I was waiting for my new card to arrive from my new bank account and needed to update my payment information. Unfortunately, the ACH payment was still pulled from my old account, which caused my bank account to overdraft because I was in the process of closing that account. Needless to say, I was extremely frustrated. Dr. Walburn personally reached out, explained what happened, refunded the EFT, and made sure I had plenty of time to come in and update my card information. My 11 year old son had what we thought was a pulled muscle. We made an appointment for the pediatrician but took him in to this office to be checked immediately to hopefully get some relief. The chiropractor did some “orthopedic testing” and said my son had IT band syndrome from recent rapid growth. He had us sign up for a membership where he was adjusted twice a week for 2 weeks. I expressed my concern that he wasn’t improving. The chiropractor insisted it would take repeated appointments….. appointments where they were PULLING ON HIS AFFECTED LEG. Meanwhile he went to the pediatrician and received a referral to go to a pediatric orthopedic doctor for a second opinion. We go to the orthopedic doctor and he takes one look at my son and suspects Slipped Capital Femoral Epiphysis (SCFE). My son was scheduled for emergency surgery two days after. I called The Joint Chiropractic to advise them of the situation and spoke to a girl at the front desk. I was not asking for a refund but just to let them know we wouldn’t be returning and so they could be more cautious with patients with similar symptoms. I also asked not to be charged for the following two months we signed up for given the circumstances. She told me she was checking with management for a full refund. I never hear a word back from anyone at the office and they continue to try and charge me their membership fees. It has now been 3 1/2 weeks and still nothing. I have to keep my bank card locked because of the constant attempts at charges. Their urgency at signing us up for a membership and lack of knowledge or concern for my sons condition could have literally prevented him from walking normally ever again, playing sports and caused him to need repeated surgeries throughout his life. I’m thankful we got a second opinion and caught it early because all these chiropractors did was encourage repeated visits at The Joint and insist that it was normal to take so long to heal. I’m really disgusted by this whole experience and this treatment of a child! Here’s a photo of his X-rays for proof!!!

I found this chiropractor online and they advertised walk-ins accepted. The staff was great. Dr. Patel was very thorough with her examination. She explained everything she was doing. She adjusted me and came up with a treatment plan to get me back so I would feel better. They do not take insurance but they offer affordable rates to see a great doctor. Your visit is also fast and you are not waiting long. I highly recommend.

I’ve beeb to The Joint Chiropractic before in Lakeland, Florida and a location in North Carolina both very nice and accommodating. This location not so much. I’m in healthcare so I fully believe in accommodating a patient and providing the best care possible. I arrived today at 12:25pm while I’m my lunch break. I told the representative Sage that I was on my break and had to clock back in at 1pm. He looked up my information and requested me to fill out all my information before I see the provider. I expressed him that this was a joke considering I called before I had to book an appointment and nobody answered the phone. His response was “unfortunately, we don’t book appointments for patients who are NOT new patients.” After I was done talking to him it’s about five minutes past and I asked, well where is the paperwork? Sage responded, “ oh I’m sorry I forgot to tell you I sent you a text with the link to fill out your paperwork.” I was almost done filling out the paperwork via my phone and Sage now says at 12:45 “ I’m sorry I don’t think we’re gonna have time to see him today, but you can come back another time. If you want, you can come back today when you get off of work.” As if I have nothing else going on. I asked for his managers card and of course the manager was not in. I called the district manager and left him a very in depth message. Its actually comical the info they had me fill out. It was not an updated form it was a form as if I was a new patient. Complete Bull!! As someone who works in healthcare this is NOT quality care. Do Not Waste Your Time or Money!!

Unfortunately Dr. Walburn who runs this location bans customers who leave a bad Google review and then refuses to provide refunds for services not rendered. I was nothing but kind and professional until I caught him lying on the phone at which point I told him I was done with the conversation and hung up. It’s a foolish way to treat a customer of four years and is a sad reflection on his professionalism that he cannot accept feedback. His argument for not providing a refund is that he claims you can see any joint nationwide outside of Lakeland, Plant City or zephyrhills but since I don’t live nationwide and paid for local care, that isn’t an acceptable answer. The state Attorney General’s office is looking into the matter. If you need to go to The Joint I recommend avoiding any from this franchise.

My wife and I had a disappointing experience at The Joint Chiropractic Zephyrhills with chiropractor JC Gonzalez. We came in hoping for a simple adjustment for my wife to see how things went before committing to anything long-term. Instead, chiropractor JC Gonzalez came across as arrogant and dismissive, and there was a strong push to sign up for one of their more expensive programs right away. When my wife explained that she preferred to start with a single session and think about future visits, his attitude noticeably changed. The interaction felt rushed, and the level of care and attention dropped off once it was clear she wasn’t ready to commit financially on the spot. Overall, the experience felt more like a sales pitch than patient-centered care. We were looking for a professional, respectful approach—not pressure to make an immediate decision. We will not be returning.

I did definitely feel better at the end of my session. My issue is why do they expect you to commit to a 2 mo plan ? . The sign of their counter says $79 for one month. However there's another paper that they want you to sign which says you are committing yourself for 2 months of visits! Not possible to plan that far ahead. What is something comes up, possibly you're going on vacation, maybe you become ill. I found this to be so unreasonable and it's almost like a scam that they assume and they want you to pay almost $200 upfront. My neighbor told me about this place and I forgot why they did not return. Once they have a hold of your credit card....be careful... Read the fine print! This is false advertisement while the counter sign mentioning 79.00 per month. It clashes with the actual sign up agreement document!.... Get the full story before you go through the paperwork...your initial 1st consultation & appointment ....! Which could be very time-consuming only to find out they are not being honest!

Disappointed..... told the Dr about my immune disorder and he said he knew all about it. I then asked him to explain, and he could not. So I spent 15 minutes telling him of my condition. This firm is just looking for ways to earn a steady "maintenance" fee from patients. Also. Even they say they're a certified provider to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, in the small print they say "fans" of the Bucs. Highly unlikely the Bucs let these people work on their players.

I just had the worst experience here. This was my 3rd time going. The first two times I had a younger Hispanic man adjust me and he was truly SO kind and did an incredible job. The guy at the front desk is also super nice and welcoming. They explained their monthly maintenance plan. I personally felt I did not need 4 adjustments a month so I decided I was going to pay the single adjustment fee of $55 when I felt I needed an adjustment. I went today and there was an older white man there as the chiropractor. As soon as it was my turn he asked me when I was finally going to get this sorted out. Confused, I asked him what he meant. He brought up the fact that I have gone in September, November and then now. And I responded I go when I feel like I need it. He then asked me where I graduated from. I told him USF and then he asked me “oh? They have a chiropractic program there?” & I said no idea I graduated with my bachelors in health sciences. He responded “I’m being facetious because you think you know everything.” (That’s crazy to say to a patient). Then the entire adjustment he would take note of something that is out of alignment or some pain that I have, chuckle at it and then repeat that I think I know everything. I will never go here again to pay $55 to be insulted. This man needs training in customer service. Please help him before you continue to lose patients this way.

This was my second visit to the Joint. My pain in two places (at the first visit) were gone the next day! I knew that I needed to come back regularly (one time is not a fix). I got a package of 10 and look forward to regular visits to help my body get aligned. Sage runs the front of the house, and he is personable and efficient! 2 days ago I couldn’t walk. My entire spine was shifted to the right and my pelvis was completely uneven . I had recently moved to Dade City, FL and my insurance changed and did not include chiropractic care. I was blessed to find The Joint in Zephyrhills, FL. What a Godsend!!! Dr. Ben and the rest of the staff were always so forthcoming with what was best for me as the individual- not some cookie-cutter routine like I had dealt with previously. I admire the concept, but once my insurance included chiropractic care, I left. The cost of $80 a month is incredible! And the ambiance of the facility is always inviting!

This group of chiropractors is fantastic. I recommend them 100%. JC is the best because he helped me with severe neck pain caused by poor sleeping posture. It wasn't easy, but with constant therapy, we were able to relax and completely relieve the pain. Dr. JC is bilingual, which is beneficial for my mother, who doesn't speak English. Updating my review from last year: Dr. JC STILL gives a great adjustment every time. He listens and meets my expectations, I always leave feeling better than when I arrived! ADDING that Cheyenne at the front desk is a great addition to the practice. She is friendly and personable and both she and Dr JC make everyone feel welcome. Two of the things I value in addition to the great service is that they keep their environment so clean, and the value for the money. I’ve been to other chiropractors in the area and they charge at least double for what I pay on my wellness plan. Keep up the good work!!!

Dr.JC has been a God send for me! I can be very difficult to adjust at times and he can always figure out a way to help even on days I’m in so much pain. Also, I absolutely love that I can go any time without an appointment. I have been coming to the Joint for a while now, and it has been one of the best decisions I have made. My mobility has improved and my pain has reduced, and not just in my neck and back. Honestly, when I started with the Joint Chiropractic I was sceptical. I was in so much pain, I barely slept 3 hours a night do to body aches. Since starting this care, I started to sleep a full 7 hours at least 5 days a week. Temporarily I have to pause my services because life just happens when we least expect it. I will return to the joint chiro care ASAP. Thank Drs for being awesome ?.

I did definitely feel better at the end of my session. My issue is why do they expect you to commit to a 2 mo plan ? . The sign of their counter says $79 for one month. However there's another paper that they want you to sign which says you are committing yourself for 2 months of visits! Not possible to plan that far ahead. What is something comes up, possibly you're going on vacation, maybe you become ill. I found this to be so unreasonable and it's almost like a scam that they assume and they want you to pay almost $200 upfront. My neighbor told me about this place and I forgot why they did not return. Once they have a hold of your credit card....be careful... Read the fine print! This is false advertisement while the counter sign mentioning 79.00 per month. It clashes with the actual sign up agreement document!.... Get the full story before you go through the paperwork...your initial 1st consultation & appointment ....! Which could be very time-consuming only to find out they are not being honest!

I do not like being in an open room with others getting adjusted. I do not like how predatory and cookie cutter it feels. It feels like they are advertising this illusion of health and services while raking in the cash on subscriptions. I’ve had much better care at a legitimate chiropractor that pairs you with a massage therapist and potentially does X-rays to focus on your issues. I feel cheated out of $79 because I did not read the fine print stating that I had to stay subscribed for two months. You have to physically go in and sign the cancellation form which was inconvenient for me.

Needed to stop my monthly subscription to save some money in my life and on the SAME DAY my subscription renewed and charged my bank account I stopped in and asked for a refund for the month I was not and did not use 1 day of and was told no. so I paid for a month and got NO value from it. how is that fair or ethical? bad business IMHO. Excruciating, lower back pain going into my butt in front of my leg was going numb and tingling. Husband helped me into the chiropractor office. I met Dr. H who is phenomenal. He was very gentle with me as he was not sure what was going on with my spine or the nerves. He ordered an MRI which showed pinched nerve bulging disc other items that I would need to have dealt with back in Canada. The pain is subsiding with his adjustments he does. He even helps me out to the car when I am unable to stand the pain and walk on my own.

My experience was great ? I really appreciate how Dr H. explained in very great detail of the reasoning why I probably was having back trouble as well as explaining in great detail each step of what type of treatment he was going to provide for me that day. I've officially found my favorite office now when it comes to my chiropractic needs! I was a little bit hesitant at first especially when Dr Drake was working my neck but once he started I felt sooo much better afterwards! I went before my mom went to test it out but I'm glad we both did it and I definitely plan on coming back?

Dr.H was wonderful he took his time with me through the first visit. He made sure he thoroughly went over all my medical history. Came in today to have my adjustment done and the two women upfront especially Vicky was amazing and treated me so well and understood my situation and didn’t pressure me to sign up for anything whatsoever.
