Her dad was a massage therapist who worked for a chiropractor and was adjusted regularly as a baby, but after that, she wasn't adjusted again until she started chiropractic school. The thought of chiropractic didn't cross her mind again until she was at a crossroads.

While at the University of Central Florida, she majored in Kinesiology, had a strong passion for anatomy, physiology, and biomechanics, and even became a teaching assistant for anatomy. This laid down a solid foundation to understand how the human body moves and functions. She was a senior and didn't know the next steps in life but knew she wasn't done furthering her education. After a long conversation with her academic advisor about different career opportunities, he mentioned chiropractic and told her to look into it. After looking into it, she toured the Palmer College of Chiropractic Florida campus in Daytona and fell in love.

Today, Dr. Baldwin is working to help as many people as possible with chiropractic care and help them achieve optimal health and wellness.

Outside of the office, Dr. Baldwin likes to spend time with friends, go to the gym, golf, travel, try new restaurants and experiences, and be out on the water.     I genuinely love going to see Dr. Tara. She makes me feel comfortable, listens to what my body is telling her, and knows exactly where to focus. Don’t let the gentle hands fool you, though. Dr. Tara may have a soft touch, but when it’s time for an adjustment, she means business! She somehow manages to be gentle and powerful at the same time, and she has an incredible ability to find exactly what needs attention and get things moving again. And then there’s her kickstart method. I’ll admit, it was a little scary the first couple of times! But once I learned to trust the process, it quickly became one of the most effective adjustments for my back. She basically twists me into a pretzel, works her magic, and somehow everything ends up exactly where it needs to be. Beyond being great at what she does, she’s simply a wonderful person to work with. I always enjoy my visits, I trust her completely, and I genuinely look forward to seeing her.     Really enjoyed the consultation with the chiropractor and the adjustment she did on me felt great. I wanted to wait to the next couple of days or so to make sure no new pain arise or that I didn’t feel anything strange in body after the adjustment before deciding if I want to commit for longer financial term (at least 3 months). If I wanted to take advantage of the savings I was offered taking a package, which I truly consider, but when I insisted that I wanted to wait they told me that if I decide to do the package, when I come back, it will be $55, plus the price of the first month package which is $169 for 10 sessions (to be used within the first 30 days), and then $89 per month for two more months for 4 sessions each month. The commitment is 3 months, but what I didn’t like is having to pay $55 when I come back on top of the $169 for the package. That turns out to be $5.50 more per session for the first 10 sessions you are required to use within the first 30 days, rather than the $16.90 per session they offer but that you must buy the first time you go

    This place was a joke this Sunday. Never used this location before. On a Sunday with only one doctor. 35 min wait because 2 people waiting and 1 new person exam. I decided to go next door for food to hopefully get this 35min wait shorter. Came back now 35-40 min wait 1 doctor and more new patient exams. I left I won’t visit this location again. Should be company policy with only 1 doctor onsite no new patients exams allowed. I guess the joint is more interested in the money of the new patients than inconvenience of it members.

They got my wife to a monthly subscription without her knowing , even after she cancelled they told her you have until end of April to use what you paid for , but still charged her again today April 28 , they told her you should have used it by April 25 .

    It is very eye-opening and if you're actually struggling with some sort of pain, I recommend trying this first, but don't expect it to be once and done you have to keep going. I got my wife an adjustment for the first time and she was scared of chiropractors in her entire life because she thought they were gonna paralyze her. That's not true. As long as like checking out, it was very informative and prices aren't that bad. I've seen a little bit better but for something that's all over the United States and you could Just walk in and get an adjustment it's a very good option. My wife got a membership to see if it'll help with her neck pain after pregnancy and apparently it did relieve it a lot. She said I came in with back pain and I feel a little bit the same I could say I don't really feel too much shoulder pain anymore that I had But besides that you do end up, leaving with a little bit of pain because all your bones and muscles are all moved back into original place instead of your ones where that Or being strained out by your position, corina Sorry if I spelled your name wrong but she was very Put helpful and she walked us through everything at the end some things that are not making sense. I'm using voice to text and I'm too lazy to change them but overall, I'd recommend it to someone that's experiencing some pain.

    Bad experience. I explained my problem area in my lower back. However, my back was not a focus point with the doctor. He never asked me to lay on my stomach and never attempted to pop my lower back. He also wanted to pop my neck. I declaimed due to recent brain surgery 5 months ago. I explained that I was still recovering. He asked had the doctor cleared me. I said NO. I just recently had a MRI in August. Because of problems I'm still experiencing. The Doctor thought that it was weird that I declined him popping my neck. I felt so uncomfortable with this visit. I left feeling upset. Because the doctor trying to pressure me of 8 weeks of visit. I seriously felt like my target pain area wasn't the focus, because he wanted all these repeated visits. It was very outward to me. I dislike the fact that I ever walked in this place.

    I went to the Ocoee location. Dr. Axon was able to do something to me that two other Chiropractors were unable to do. He completely eliminated my pain. My pain was diagnosed as spinal stenosis and arthritis. I was told to do physical therapy and wouldn’t probably need surgery. I did the physical therapy which did nothing. Dr. Axon gave me an adjustment that gave me my life back. Thank you Dr Axon.

    They refused to work on me. They should have been more upfront with me in the when I told the front desk about my work accident not wait until my appointment when in on the table waiting for the Doctor. I told her over the phone and in the lobby filling out the paperwork. Then to have the Doctor say we can't do to your workers comp but I told you over the phone why wait until I'm at the office and on the table????

    Recently saw their Ad for "1st time patients" and my mom decided to give them a shot. She does physical therapy in NY and we thought why not try them out. First impression is the place is very clean and welcoming. Which is a plus for those that are scared of doctors. Cassandra the receptionist was very helpful with filling out the forms. They give you the options to fill it out via a tablet or paper form. We met with Dr Nicole and she was so warm welcoming. Went through the prior history and had you do a few exercises to see the pain tolerance and the areas affected. Then she did a few adjustments and it definitely gave a lot of ease. I would definitely recommend this place if your interested in getting a adjustment. Please keep in mind they are a self paid clinic so no insurance is required and they have very affordable options. Would definitely recommend them to anyone

    Dr. Nicole was phenomenal. I walked in today feeling miserable and had difficulties turning my head due to tightness in my neck. Dr. Nicole gave me instant relief. She also treated my foot for plantar fascitis. I've been dealing with pain in my foot for almost 4 years. It already feels much better and I can't wait to see her again.     its a really good place. Dr. Andrew, Dr . Dwayne and Dr. mason have been incredible. I personally prefer Male doctors because of their strength and ive never had good experiences with Female chiro doctors. I just feel like the pop / adjustment stays half way and i feel stuck for the rest of the week. Again, personal preference.

    WARNING!!! Be cautious in signing up with this company. I joined in February and was aware of the minimum 2 month required commitment before you could cancel. I stayed because the doctors were decent and it was convenient. Unfortunately, in June, I had a severe illness and was unable to use my visits between 6/10 and 7/09. I contacted the Ocoee office on 6/23 to let them know. I was told to see how things went and if I didn't end up coming in they would make an exception to roll over my months' visits. On 6/28, I received a text from office. I told them I was still very sick and would need to roll over visits. In text they said they wouldn't be able to do that to which I reminded them that they said they would the week before. I told them if they weren't going to honor what they had told me to go ahead and cancel my subscription. They said they were going to talk to the manager first, then called me back. During the call they indicated they would make the exception with the stipulation that the roll over visits would need to be used by 7/27. They reminded me that the additional 4 regular visits for July would be added 7/10 and need to be used by 8/9. Perfect! I made sure to keep track of the visits to use the roll overs by 7/27. I confirmed on 7/15 on phone & 7/19 in person the number of visits remaining for roll over and regular. However, on 8/2 I was told I only had 2 left when it should have been 4, then was told 0 because they had to be used by 7/27. Despite contacting the office where I spoke to a very understanding receptionist who apologized for the situation and reaching out to customer service, there was no resolution. The customer service response was I cancelled last night, however they should have cancelled on 6/28 as requested in text before they convinced me to stay and pay for an additional month of service which they failed to provide.

    Nicole is very nice but not for me. Nicole usually just like to use the activator instead of her using her hands. She even told me get a massage and gave me one of her friends information card. The reason ppl go to the chiropractor is for them use their hands and work on them. This location is near my house but the turkey lake office is the best office. They believe in using their hands instead of the activator.

    Coming to The Joint was the best thing I ever did. Dr. Nicole and Dr. Andrew are phenomenal. Each time I visit I am never disappointed. Every time I go I’m in a lot of pain but when I leave out I feel as if I can run a marathon.     This place was pleasantly surprising. They did take care of an issue that was bothering me, so I thank them for that. The doctor and the staff were very helpful and knowledgeable. The, only thing that I would ask is if there is a way for patients to fill out the information online themselves. And then sign the paperwork via PDF or printable download when they arrive. I think this would streamline new patients.

    I had a great experience with both Dr. Nicole and Dr.Mason. My first time coming in I had a few ribs out of place that were making it difficult to breathe. Within a few hours of my adjustment I felt about 80% better. The next day I felt like everything was back to normal.     Honestly had lost my trust in chiropractors before coming here. Have been here 2 times this week for a pinched nerve in my back, and I don't feel like just a number. First they tell you 4 visits for just $79 then you figure out that they charge the credit card for extra $79 next month without your consent and when you ask, they tell you that you signed a monthly contract and they show you a fine print in the contract says that. That is misleading and if you think the company will make more money by scamming people by that way, you will definitely lose your reputation. I need my money back as I didn’t agreed for that misleading contract.

    Love love love this place already, and I only just had my initial consult and exam. There were a few established patients ahead of me when I arrived but they were in and out quickly. When it got to be my turn, I appreciated the Dr taking his time with me, going over my patient questionnaire, and making sure he answered any concerns or questions I had. He really listened. I look for Dr's and medical personnel who are genuine in caring for my medical needs, and this Dr is DEFINITELY one of those, so I know I'll be returning. And the costs are great too. Thank you for making my day yesterday. And by the way, with just my first adjustment, my back feels better. I will continue with this treatment because I see it does work.

    Deceitful practice. I purchased a Groupon for my husband. He went the initial visit and they tried to charge him even though it was covered. Talked him into the plan, where he would get 4 visits for 1 amount. Never telling him, he has to use all 4 in the same month but recommended once a week treatments.     Getting super frustrated. I prefer a male chiropractor. I have had several female chiropractors and they just can't pop my back and I've tried letting them but to no dice. When ever I go into the facility there is only a female or the wait it super long to see a male chiropractor and 30 mins is excessive when you one of your selling points for the membership is that your in and out within 10 min's. Feel like I'm wasting my money. Also if everyone is wanting to see males at this location and the wait is long then it's time to staff differently.
