Dr. Ashton-Boyd earned his Doctorate in Chiropractic from Southern California University of Health Sciences, where he graduated with honors in 2011. He received his undergraduate degree in Human Biology from University of California, Irvine. Before switching to chiropractic, Dr. Ashton-Boyd was enrolled in the UC Irvine School of Medicine. His decision to focus on chiropractic demonstrates his strong commitment to the significant benefits to be gained from a preventive, natural, drug-free approach to pain management.
Dr. Ashton-Boyd has lived in California for the past 16 years. Prior to working at The Joint, he served as director of SMMC’s Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation Department.
“Back pain and discomfort are usually just an indicator, a symptom, of a more involved set of issues developed over time based on how people live their daily lives,” said Dr. Ashton-Boyd. “I firmly believe in the benefits of regular chiropractic adjustments as an effective tool that can deliver long-lasting benefits in each patient’s individual quest for increased mobility and wellness.”
Dr. R Brandon Sager was born and raised in Colville, Washington. He attended and graduated from Central Washington University in Ellensburg, Washington, with a Bachelor of Science in Exercise Kinesiology. Dr. Sager was inspired by a chiropractor/family friend to further his studies and knowledge of the body with chiropractic. He attended Life Chiropractic College West in Northern California bay area in 2013.
Dr. Sager is The Joint’s local chiropractor in Longmont and is pleased to serve the Longmont community. He enjoys seeing all varieties of patients and is experienced with all ages of patients as well as a wide range of conditions including migraine relief, sciatica pain, neck pain, and lower back pain through the use of manual manipulation.
His passion is helping others achieve their health goals by maximizing the connection between the brain and body through a well-adjusted spine. He has consistently demonstrated first-hand how regular chiropractic adjustments not only help to prevent pain and injury but also serve to promote optimal health and wellness.
In free time, he enjoys being outdoors camping, fishing, and hunting.
