Cut me off when I walked in while they were still open because they “are cutting off patients” because they don’t want to stay a few minutes past close. I guess I pay a monthly membership to not get an adjustment when I need it. I guess it’s all about the revenue at this location and not about the patient, who pays you every month without question so I can get turned away.

I have visited many locations and it was my first time at this one since I was close to it during a drive. I walked in and the front lady was extremely unwelcoming. Even to the person in front of me. She asked for my number and looked extremely annoyed. Asked if I was paying out of pocket the $55. I asked to confirmed the price since other locations I pay $49 (truly not a big deal for $6 difference)and she said: This is what you paid last time so don’t know what is your issue in a mean very upset tone. I just said: I’ll go somewhere else because you are extremely rude. I left without getting the service and never coming here again!

I’ve been coming here for many years. Just came in again for some maintenance. Was once again asked to fill more forms out. I expressed that the amount of forms that need to be filled out at medical places is getting so ridiculous. (Which is fair)At the point the receptionist got very rude and argumentative with me. Worst place ever. My first visit and only visit she didn't even move the pillow and just smashed me into the bed. Your neck adjustment should be from the top of the table and she did it on the side. When I called to ask for my money back because I was still in pain a week later she told me did you ice it. I went to the chiropractor years ago and never had to ice it. I now hear cracking in my neck when I move my neck and have a huge knot that wasn't there before and am going to a different doctor to make sure I'm okay today Of course they kept my $150 that I paid in advance.even tho I only went to the first initial visit. Do not recommend these people at all Pray my neck is okay P. S. I've been to the chiropractor a lot and never had to ice it. Also since I only used one visit and paid $150 dollars you think as a courtesy you would have refunded my used visits since I was injured by your lady

I went yesterday on a Saturday at 10 AM when they were supposed to be open no one was there. There was no sign on the door that said they were closed and it didn’t say anything when I called on the message about them being closed. I went to the car wash and went back about 10:26am. They still were closed even though it indicates their time they were supposed to be open. So then today, Sunday at 10 AM I went again thinking they must be open today which they should be due to their hours and no sign on the door, they’re not open, no one‘s answering the phone. I’m pissed off and it’s a waste of my time and I have a monthly membership and I want a refund for this month because I’m so mad. You have posted open hours for a reason they should be there working during those time frames.

Could barely understand the doctor, i left in more pain than I came in with, the dude, just jostled me around and basically beat me up. I always come in to the joint when I sleep on my neck wrong or accumulate back pain from work. After 2 or 3 adjustments my back/neck pain goes away (because I go in immediately after I notice the pain) and I can go back to doing the things I enjoy. It can get a little busy around lunch time, but most other times of the day there is no wait. 5 stars, would recommend.

The reception and managers here were the worst when I let them know I'd be gone for a month and wanted to pause my month. And it was already charged for $75. This is the reason they don't let you pay cash so they can keep charging you. Reception kept telling me to just wait it out and not to worry. Just to find out I lost my money and appointments when the manager finally decided to touch base with me. It was the worst customer service ever and didn't even care to accommodate me.

If you care about yourself just invest in a different place. Horrible experience all around it’s like the guy kept guessing what to do which made me really uncomfortable. I gave him exact instructions how I normally get an adjustment and he ignored what I said and talked down to me.I wasn’t trying to know more than him just know what my body needed. Kept yanking on my head and saying is this good? Waste of time ultimately and I’m waiting for a refund.

While I am usually done within 10 minutes or less from check-in to adjustment completed it is not a one size fit all type of care .. Love this place, you can get in and out fast. I had instant relief from a pinched nerve and slept amazingly. My contant neck pain is getting better for the first time in 12 years. Also, for some reason, I was able to breath openly out of both nostrils. No complaints from me

Great Doctors, Terrible Service: A Disappointing Experience at The Joint Chiropractic!!! I recently had an extremely disappointing experience at The Joint Chiropractic at Rural & Baseline in Tempe, AZ. While the doctors—Kristy Morgan, Jeremy Lautt, and Steve Sherry—are exceptional in their care, the overall experience is severely marred by the front counter staff. The front desk staff are consistently rude and unprofessional. They show no willingness to accommodate for their own mistakes, and their attitude is dismissive at best. On multiple occasions, I've been overcharged for services and faced issues with billing plans that were not adhered to as promised. It's incredibly frustrating to deal with a business that seems to have no regard for helping their guests or resolving issues fairly. Despite my prior bad experiences, I decided to give them another chance because they were open on Sunday, and my dad needed chiropractic services. Unfortunately, this turned out to be a bad decision. The same issues persisted, and it was clear that the front desk staff's behavior and the mishandling of billing plans are ongoing problems. The only positive aspect of this location is the doctors. Kristy Morgan, Jeremy Lautt, and Steve Sherry are all fantastic. They make you feel comfortable and are genuinely concerned about your general health. It's a shame that such skilled and caring doctors are overshadowed by the poor management and rude front desk staff. In conclusion, while the doctors at The Joint Chiropractic at Rural & Baseline are great, the overall experience is ruined by the unprofessional and unaccommodating front counter help. I’ve been a patient at The Joint for 4 months. I’ve been to many chiropractors in my life. I have 3 curvatures in my back and a traumatized neck, so I’m not the easiest person to adjust. Dr. Kosar has done a great job with my back issues. I no longer have the back pain I had when I initially went there. My neck really isn’t adjustable any more, so he stretches it with manual traction. This helps my neck considerably. I would recommend Dr Kosar to anyone. He’s efficient and kind.

I had a great experience with the chiropractor and the lady at the front. I can't remember her name but she was very, very cool. Nice funny doing. The problem I had was with the sign in pad as a first client. I'm not very technologically inclined and it wished they had a paper form we could have used but. Anyway, the front desk lady was very gracious and the chiropractor was really knowledgeable and kind. And He made both my husband and I feel so much better. And we signed up for the $79 monthly membership. We were very pleased, thank you.

There is a new chiropractor every time which results in a lot of miscommunication/misunderstanding in my visits. On a Saturday, I was told to get bio freeze for my shoulder, and 2 days later at the same location I was told that bio freeze wouldn’t work. Everyone is friendly, however I’m not seeing or feeling any results from visiting this chiropractic chain.

You guys can’t even help yourself with your pushy sales practices!! Check out the canned response to the review I left below under “A J”. Perfect example of them refusing to take no for an answer and continuing to push for business after seeing a customer is uncomfortable with their business practices. Also, I was never offered the flex plan until after someone locked me in to the most expensive monthly plan. But you won’t listen to this review either. I don’t need chiropractic relief and I will never give you my business again. I don’t want to discuss with someone who will continue to not listen and push chiropractic care onto me. I never needed relief in the first place but of course you tell everyone they need relief because that’s how you get paid. I’ve seen a chiropractor before this and they didn’t tell me I needed to keep coming in 2 times per week. The simple fact is you only care about money.

I have not been to the joint in years but have been able to finally come back. The joint has always been a great place to go for chiropractic care and some chiropractors there are just superstar's. Upon my return I was assisted by Dr. Kosar and he is one of those types that help make the joint a great place to go. Very very pushy sales tactics. They get you in for a $29 trial, then they push you into doing the monthly subscription. Not getting a monthly subscription was never an option. When I tried to cancel the very next day, they told me that I "can't cancel" until the second month. Huh??? Also, I was never told about the other "flex" option which is apparently $20 per month with $20 adjustments on a case by case basis. Overall, I feel like I was taken advantage of and pushed into a subscription that wasn't fully explained to me. The doctor also did a terrible job explaining to me the benefits of chiropractic care. My Physical Therapist laughed at the workout recommendations given to me by the chiropractor for an actual elbow injury I am working through.

I can’t say enough great things about The Joint Chiropractic! I’ve used multiple locations very conveniently, and always greeted by friendly staff, and have had some pretty phenomenal adjustments. Ian at the Tempe location is wonderful, and Dr. Kosar goes above and beyond with my adjustments, taking the time to stretch me out and loosen me up before hand. I never feel rushed with him. It seems like my adjustments are always a little different while he takes his time to feel around before popping, whereas I’ve been adjusted before and I felt like I was on an assembly line. Not only is every body different, but every time you go in your body needs to be adjusted a little differently. Keep up the great work, and I will keep returning and referring!

I have been seeing chiropractors on and off for over 50 years. Dr. Kozar has been the absolute best I have ever seen. When I came in I couldn't stand straight. He told me what was wrong, what he was going to do, and what I needed to do. He has spent more time with me than any other chiropractor I have seen. It's very obvious that he takes a personal interest in his profession and patients.

I’ve been going to this chiropractic location for a few years now . Every time I find someone who works great they end up leaving . My first appointment went great and started me off on the right path to feel better. But..... Right now. 1:35 pm on Saturday September 3rd, there is not a single doctor in the office of this location. Sure I could go to another location, but its incredibly annoying to pay for a service, and not have a single doctor in my local office during the only time my schedule allows me to come in.

Probably the worst experience ive ever had . This was my second visit, my first visit was with a nice attentive Dr who was a guy of asian decent . I went back for a follow up and the lady Dr that I met didnt even care to listen to what i was telling her on what i needed help with . She just wanted me to lie down and do her 2 sec adjustment and get the next person. When i went in my upper back was a little better after the first Dr helped me . Now im in more pain than before . This place a joke they don't really seem personable , it seems like its a drive through adjustment one size fits all.

I am a difficult adjustment. Most of the time they do very well! Once in a while it isn’t so good and I have to go more often. The biggest problem is when I find someone that can adjust me well they don’t stay around very long☹️ They have a big turn over and move people around often.

I have gone to A LOT of Joint locations and I can definitely say this is my favorite one. There is a location closer to my home but still chose to drive further to this one since I always have a better result. I do love that there is always a female doctor present, which is more comfortable for me (also a female identifying). My favorites are Dr. Logan and Dr. Shah. I always feel like I'm standing a little straighter after my visits with either of them.

I just literally came from there & Clinton Huston was the chiropractor!! OMG! I can’t even tell you how much I appreciate him!! I haven’t been able to get my lower back adjusted properly in over a year and a half. Most of the time it doesn’t move at all. Dr. Huston adjusted my mid & lower back without any issues. I walked out of the office out of pain for the first time in almost 2 years! I wish he was at this location every day!! Thank you! Thank you! Thank you!!!

They turned me down 10 minutes to closing bc they didn’t want to help me. I was in pain and I had to fill out paperwork bc I haven’t been in a couple months. I explained I could fill out super quick l. But I was turned away by the front desk and chiropractor. Super unprofessional & they must need not need business. I will not be coming back to this chain. Staff are very friendly. You don't have to worry about them constantly trying to sell you something. You can stick to one Dr or change it up as they can have different styles. You literally walk in, get your adjustment and walk out. They have helped me recover from several work related injures.

"The Joint" is a fairly affordable, clean, quick/efficient business. I have only been to this location and it had top notch customer service. From the receptionist to the docs, everyone was polite and professional. I came for backpain and upon an exam was given an adjustment that helped tremendously. I'm unsure if this works for everyone but I was at wits end with my pain. My pain is now significantly reduced and manageable. I plan to continue the service and will update this review if changes to the service occur. Caveat: I just want to specify that I believe a wholistic approach to pain or injuries is needed. Before going to "The Joint" I had talked to my primary care and did physical therapy for my back. I plan to continue to consult all three of these services.

All of the staff at the Tempe Shops location are friendly and inviting! Although I live on the east end of Mesa, I choose to frequent the Tempe Shops location, because of the excellent care that the chiropractors provide. Making regular adjustments a part of my weekly routine has improved my quality of life tremendously, as well. I sleep better, stand taller, and I'm not as sore as I used to be after a hard workout.

I’m not usually one to write lengthy reviews but this place deserves it. I can’t thank Dr. Keith Davis enough for how much relief he has brought me not only physically but emotionally as well. Most adjustments are pretty quick in and out with other providers even with Dr. Davis, when needed. The office is set just like shown in the photos, but don’t let the lack of individual rooms deter you.. Dr. Davis ALWAYS has been so professional and concentrated on the one on one time to really talk and explore specific pain areas before adjustments without rushing you through. I was always very skeptical and hesitant of chiropractors, still am, because I feel there is a open window of opportunity For a doctor to do adjustments regardless of how your body handles it, take your money and you walk out the door till next time. This has never ever ever been the case at The Joint and I truly have faith he would never make an adjustment on me unless fully confident that it was the right thing to do to alleviate my problem areas. More than once, (and through my first pregnancy!) there were a few times I have come in the office half in tears with pain in my hip and shoulder. I was so convinced I had broken a bone, tore a ligament, destroyed my rotator cuff, really thought I was hurt... Dr. Davis provided me more knowledge, at home therapy/self care advice, and major major healing and pain relief through his adjustments than my OBGYN, primary and even urgent care combined. For any first timers or people not happy with their chiropractor, or anyone in general, I highly suggest going to see Dr. Davis !! 100% hands down an amazing caring and knowledgeable chiropractor !

I normally go to only one location but tonight I wasnt going to make it if I went to the location I normally go so I stopped here for an adjustment. The guy who helped me was incredible. I wish I could remember his name. He has dreadlocks and gave me an incredible adjustment and wanted to make sure I walked out feeling better. My first visit to this Joint location; was treated by Dr. Michone Ouellette. Who ever answers the phones there has terrible customer service. They either hang up on you, talk way too fast, or simply answer the phone but don't say anything until you hang up yourself. The adjustments aren't bad, just that certain chiropractors are better than others at this location.

If I could give 0 stars I would. I have seen MANY chiropractors in my life. I have been seeing them for 32 years and in all those years this was by far the WORST Dr. I have ever seen. Totally ignored my symptoms. I even told her exactly what needed to be adjusted. The adjustments that WERE done, I could do myself. Every Dr. I have ever seen has at least TRIED to help. This was a joke and a total waste of money. The only reason I went was to get some relief until my Dr. comes in on Monday. Never again. Please keep in mind I am only rating my last visit that was on 4/23/19 around 1:00pm. Hey guys normally my visits at the Joint are always wonderful and I think it’s because every other time I have been there it was a woman who did my adjustment. This time it was a guy that was really rough and I lift in more pain than I walked in with. I told him I think I was dealing with a pinched nerve but it seemed that I was treated like a number this time and not a patient. Hopefully something will come from this but I know for certain that if that girl who does my back adjustments normally is not there I am turning around.

I found this location via google search and on their website they claim that they can treat lower back pain, but apparently thats only a half truth. When they found out that my back pain came from an on the job accident from almost a year ago they actually refused to see me! I couldn’t believe it! I told them that I intended to pay for the visit out of pocket but they wouldn’t hear of it. What kind of chiropractor doesn’t treat lower back pain?! It appears that they’ll only treat lower back pain if they’re completely comfortable with how you got the pain to being with. This is by far the worst medical treatment (or more accurately lack thereof) that I have ever received in my entire life! And that’s saying a lot considering I’ve visited third world countries before. Don’t waste your time like I did by driving here to realize that they’ll refuse to see you. If you still feel like trying this place out I would highly recommend calling in advance to see if they’ll treat you ahead of time.

I love this place...the staff is always super friendly and efficient, and very helpful. I appreciate the weekend hours of operation because my work week doesn't really allot me any time to get an adjustment. If you are in need of chiropractic maintenance...The Joint is the place to go. I get adjusted about every two weeks, and have been a customer for almost two years. The prices are fair and the service is great. The Doctors are really thorough in the pre-screening. You can even get a free adjustment as a birthday reward! The Joint is truly tops!!! Thank you for your professional and friendly staff!

If you eligible for Medicare even if you are on it or not they will not see you. Even if you want to pay cash they will not, so save yourself a trip they say they have to report to Medicare even if you are not on it. Seems strange to me but they will not get any business from me or any friends of mine.

I am extremely happy with this company. I don't usually support big chains, but $60 a month for 4 visits is incredible. It's only a 20-30 second session but they get you fixed up and out really quickly

What an amazingly cost-effective, convenient, and spectacular chiropractic concept! My husband and I have been members for at least a year now and we have taken full advantage of the opportunity to be monthly members with the automatic monthly charge, which makes chiropractic care CHEAP for the firs time ever. We use our flexible spending account (FSA) for automatic withdrawals out of our FSA account and it's a seamless process. We have a wonderful, first-name basis relationship with our regular chiropractor, Dr. Steve Knauf, and we truly enjoy seeing him at least 4x a month for our regular visits. He remembers us, our lives, our back issues, and he cares that he's addressing our bodies' needs and we trust his care, his expertise, and take his recommendations for icing and aftercare. We are always greeted with positivity and enthusiasm by Cynthia at the front desk and we feel like our business is appreciated. The decor of the office is trendy and inviting and you're in and out without ever waiting more than 5-10 minutes (if at all) and it's centrally located for easy access and to run other errands, etc. We're lifelong customers and have suggested The Joint to many other friends and family...in addition, we continue to see other locations popping up throughout the country, which adds tremendous value to our membership.

Show up for an adjustment at 8am, sign says they don't open till 9am, OK. Show up at 9am now the sign says they don't open till 10am, FML. If I show up at 10am well it change to 11am???

LOVE LOVE LOVE DR. Steve and the staff here. I am a nail tech and a jewelry designer. Because of this, I am a weekly patient and have been coming here for almost two years. The office is extremely clean. I like the no appointment concept and the quick in and out service without compromising quality. I love the fact that they are open 7 days, although limited hours on Saturday and Sunday but still...doesn't your back always go out on a Sunday when other chiropractors are closed?!

I've been going to The Joint for quite a while now and think this is an incredible value for someone with chronic back problems. I had a back injury 25 years ago, and the doctors and staff at The Joint do wonders for me. They are so friendly and get to know you by name very quickly. It is affordable, quick and easy to just swing by after work since they have convenient later hours. I'm on the monthly plan and go in just about every week, which keeps my pain under control. I'm so glad they thought of something like this. I don't know where I would be without them.

I was very impressed with my first visit to the The Joint located in Tempe, Arizona. The receptionist greeted me immediately and was very welcoming. I filled out a brief health history and then I went back to get an adjustment. The D.C. was friendly and gave me an adjustment that immediately made me feel better. Upon check out the receptionist explained the different payment plans that were available. My first visit probably took 20 minutes. Regular patients that came in were in and out within five minutes. The office was extremely clean. I highly recommend The Joint!

For years I've looked for a place that I could go to for my Saturday/Sunday headaches...the Joint doctors, their staff and their prices make this place a true gem and have saved countless weekends for me and my family. I live closer to the 3rd st and Bell location but they recently switched doctor's there and he did a terrible job on me. I gave this location a shot and noticed they have more chiro's (3 total) ready to help, I was skeptical but so far so good, I love how this place operates compared to most chiro offices, I'll prob go back a few more times.

We came in for a quick checkup because of wrist pain (most likely computer related) & my wife's possible Ganglion cycst on the wrist. The doctor ( don't remember his name) did a quick check & recommended me a wrist band for night & for my wife he recommended us to a hand surgeon. He didn't ask us to pay anything for his advice. Not sure how their treatment is because we actually didn't have to take them :)

Hello, I have been a member with the joint for over 2 years, I used to enjoy coming to the joint location when Dr. Steve (Baseline and Rural) was in charge but ever since he left the customer service in this office has been poor and disappointing. The secretary has constantly treated me poorly, I can recall several incidents where she has been short with me. Also there was a time where she asked me to wait in the waiting area and made me wait while there were other clients that walked in and got appointments before me, only to have me wait for thirty minutes and tell me that I had hit my limit for appointments for the month. Incidents like this led me to cancel my membership and today I went into the clinic to get my last appointment and the secretary scanned my card and told me to head on over to get my adjustment and as I was walking out she told me that i had to pay the walk in fee because I was two days late for my monthly cycle. I was SHOCKED that you would charge me considering I had only made three visits over the course of a 30 day span. It is very disappointing to see how much this office has gone down the drain, I have recommended the joint to so many of my friends and relatives because Dr. Steve always went out of his way to take care of me. These new set of employees seem to not care about me as a customer. I am glad that I cancelled my membership with the joint and I will be looking for chiropractic care elsewhere.

Their cancellation polices are designed to make it inconvenient to cancel, and thus get another month out of all their members. You must cancel in person at the location where you signed up, and you will always be charged another month after canceling. I suggest putting in a little effort and finding a more traditional chiropractor, you'll save money in the long run and probably receive more personalized treatment.

Was very disappointed with my last visit, I told the Dr. my problem areas and he seemed like he was very annoyed. He did 2 different positions/movements and said "you're done" I didn't feel like he even targeted my problems areas (my lower back which he targeted feels great but I mentioned my upper back and it was ignored) and was just trying to get me in and out... would give 0 stars if I could was not worth $30.
