She earned her bachelor's degree in Exercise Science from Alderson Broaddus University in 2021 and went on to complete her Doctor of Chiropractic degree at Palmer College of Chiropractic Florida in 2025.
What Dr. Kayla loves most about being in the chiropractic field is seeing firsthand the positive impact it has on her patient’s everyday lives.
Whether it's helping someone return to the activities they love or simply making day to day movement easier, she finds purpose in every adjustment.

Dr. Joshua Wood was raised in Richmond, Virginia, and has always had a passion for understanding the human body and mind. He began his academic journey at Virginia Tech, where he earned his undergraduate degree in 2010, followed by a master’s degree from UNC-Wilmington in 2015, studying chemistry, biochemistry, and psychology.
His chiropractic journey began in San Jose, California, after graduating from Palmer College of Chiropractic West in 2022. Since then, he has practiced in several locations across California, including Hayward, Milpitas, and Gilroy. In May 2025, Dr. Wood proudly joined The Joint Chiropractic team, where he continues to serve the community with passion and dedication.
For Dr. Wood, the most rewarding part of being in the chiropractic field is the ability to make a real-time, profound difference in people's lives—helping them move, feel, and live better each day.
Outside of work, Dr. Wood enjoys hiking, exercising, music, and movies. He lives with his wife, Liz Greksouk, their newborn daughter Penelope, and their two rescue dogs—Brownie and Poppy, both basenji mixes. A morning doesn’t start right for him without cold brew coffee, which fuels his early starts and active lifestyle.
Dr. Wood's idea of the perfect dinner party would include Albert Einstein, for his wit and brilliance; Tupac Shakur, for his deep reflections on the human condition; Jimi Hendrix, for his creative innovation in music; and Bryan Cranston, to gain insight into the craft of acting and storytelling.
One of his most memorable adventures was taking an ATV tour at Kualoa Ranch in Honolulu, Hawaii, where he explored stunning landscapes featured in the Jurassic Park films—an unforgettable experience tied to one of his favorite movies of all time.
